A tribute to our sweet "Cody"

Last month (May 9th, 2017) we lost our dear furry friend "Cody".  Cody had blessed us with  9 years of companionship filled with happiness and joy. 

We will always remember his sweet little face and wagging tail.

Lego Batman Birthday

My youngest son just turned 6 and this year he requested a "Lego Batman" theme for his birthday party.

I used a mix of gray, black, and yellow fondant to make the "Batman" cake.  To keep things simple, I used a cake mix (my son picked a vanilla flavor).

I found this tutorial on "Pinterest" for "Lego" brick head marshmallow pops.  I gave the marshmallow pops away as party treats and they seemed to be a big hit. I used the "Wilton Candy Melts Marker" to draw on the "Lego" faces.
