Master Bathroom Renovation Reveal

Hello Readers,

It is hard to believe that it has been more than six months since you have seen a post from me.  We have been working on several projects around the house and it's about time I finally started posting about them.

Our master bath was in serious need of an overhaul.  The floor tile was installed in the 80s (directly to the sub floor) and the grout was dried up and coming out.  Seriously, I would sweep up a pan full of grout chunks daily.  One day we had enough and let the demo hammer swing.

Here is a before picture of the massive vanity

The original vanity was 8' long with a frame less mirror the same length glued to the wall.

We also had a jetted tub with a giant tiled surround.

Last but not least we had the matching gray shower unit and tub to finish out the 80's dream bath.

Well here is what we have now.

My favorite item is the new freestanding "Victoria & Albert" tub.  It is made from volcanic ash and limestone, which helps it to hold the heat of your hot water longer.....dreamy.

A new tiled shower with white subway tile walls and a marble hexagon tile floor.

Bye Bye awkward closet and hello linen cabinet.  The cabinet is from "IKEA's" new "Brusali" collection.

New towels and artwork (compliments of my boys).

A fun lantern pendant to hang in the newly scraped and painted "tower" ceiling.

One more close up of the tub.

I will follow up soon with all the sources and details.
